or favor)---of the American Scene
The leakage of a 'Nuclear Threat' policy.
The leakage of a recently prepared Bush administration
secret policy review, outlining the draft of contingency
plans for the possible use of nuclear weapons against at
least seven countries.
The
countries named, in addition to the so called "Axis
of Evil", (Iraq, Iran, and North Korea), included Russia,
China, Libya, and Syria. It has also been quoted that the
US Defense Department has been directed to prepare for the
possibility that nuclear weapons may be required in some
future Arab-Israeli crisis.
In all fairness, I believe that the report stated that
the United States would only use nuclear weapons to retaliate
against nuclear, chemical, and/or biological weapon attacks
against the United States or its allies.
The war hawks are apparently gathering within the Pentagon
to promote unthinkable Dr. Strangelove plans to 'NUKE' any
aggressor that interferes in what appears to be their world
supremacy agenda.
This is plain lunacy in setting such a precedence, which
if acted upon would decimate the population of this earth.
If
the United States was to be attacked by weapons of mass
destruction, then unfortunately I see no alternative to
the retaliation by all force necessary to contain a problem
of catastrophic proportions, whilst at the same time I see
the act of retaliation creating a self generating annihilation
of friend and foe.
A "Catch Twenty Two" situation if ever I saw one.
