Last Word.

Today Prime Minister Tony Blair had the distinct honour
of addressing the Combined Houses of the United State
Senate and received tumultuous ovations. He made a categorical
statements that British Intelligence had information,
(which he firmly believed), that Saddam Hussein had developed
weapons of mass destruction and that the war against Iraq
by the Coalition Forces was fully justified.
Comment: I would certainly agree that Mr. Blair would
be technically correct if the statement made was as follows:
"During the early 1990s Saddam Hussein was in the
process of purchasing materials in order to develop weapons
of mass destruction, and even preparing to develop a nuclear
capability".
But there again, so did Israel, India, and Pakistan, and
now these countries have those capabilities.
Bearing in mind Mr Bush’s declaration that the
elements of the so called "Axis of evil", were
Iran, Iraq, Syria and North Korea, how come he only singled
out Iraq as apparently Iran now has discovered large oil
reserves.
Question: Is Iran next on the list of United States conquests,
or maybe Syria, for harbouring terrorist factions?
