An ex-Brit gives his views-(without fear
or favor)---of the American Scene
Last word.
President Mubarak of Egypt was reported to have
said in April 2003, "America’s war against
Iraq will create a world where instead of one Bin Laden,
there will be a potential one thousand Bin Ladens".
Perhaps he should also have stated, (as shown by recent
worldwide terrorist action that), "America has created
a new generation of Muslim radicals consumed with hatred,
not only against America and Israel but against the non-Muslims
of this world in general". What will it take to stop
this terrible situation? Oh how I wish, that I had the
power and the means to create a world without war and
killing, with peace, good will, good health, and prosperity
for all people.

A terrible earthquake struck the northern Algerian
Capital city of Boumerdes---with the death toll reaching
in excess of 2500 people, with as many as 7000 people
injured----those figures are still rising. The epicentre
of the 6.7 Richter scale earthquake was located in
the town of Roubia, which is thirteen miles east of
the Capital city Algiers.

A few days after President Bush met with the Prime
Minister of Japan, he once again issued/suggested
threats of possible military action against North
Korea, if that nation did not cease their efforts
to develop nuclear weapons.
Mr
Bush and his White House Administration were recently
reported to be considering breaking off relations
with Iran for harbouring terrorist organizations.
He, or one of his spokespersons, was also reported
to have stated that the youth of Iran should be encouraged
to rebel against their present government. Where next
to show the might of America’s weaponry Mr President?
Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, North Africa, North Korea,
the Philippines, and Indonesia. This is extremely
dangerous political and aggressive military posturing,
which could lead to disastrous results worldwide.
It costs American lives and American money to put
the world to rights Mr. President, and I believe that
the American people are beginning to realise the extent
of the damage being done to their reputation as being
generous, peace loving people, by your ever increasing
efforts to go down in history as a world liberator,
or as seen by a majority of the world’s Muslims
as a belligerent aggressor.
