Related TextWith my limited knowledge of Biology and Chemistry, I find that the basic biological choice of contaminants available are Anthrax, Botulism, Pneumonic Plague, and Small Pox.
The Chemical weapons of choice appear to be Sulphur Mustard, Chlorine, Sarin, and Cyanide.

I remember vividly my exposure, during basic training with the British Armed Forces in 1942, to the effects of various derivatives of Chlorine, Phosgene, and Mustard Gas.

The method of getting the message across to the troops was to herd them into a sealed hut with gas masks at the ready and, at the Sergeant's command of "Gas masks on", we were made to parade around the room for x number of minutes to prove that the gas masks were of adequate protection from the gas which had already been released.

Then came the dreaded command "Gas masks off", and we were forced to run at the double around the perimeter of the room for a further x number of minutes to ensure that we breathed in the poisonous fumes..

I must admit the chest pains I suffered were so severe that I and many other members of the platoon were incapacitated for at least thirty minutes or more.

It was that bad - believe me.
