Bill Sykes' - In Retrospect XX.
(November 2009)

Bill Sykes looks back in retrospect at material which has been published in previous editions of "View from America", in an attempt to determine whether the subject matter written then is still applicable in today’s world.

Article #20A.

Introduction:
I was in a bit of a quandary as to what kind of subject to write about in this edition of View from America, as I appear in the past few months to have covered most of the political goings on in the United States and the so called foreign wars that Ex-President George Dubya Bush and his warmongering cronies started under totally false pretences.
Since then it would appear that American agitation, (for want of a better word), about the prospects of nuclear power in Iran and North Korea has brought the United States into possible conflict with either one, or both of these countries, and of course we must not forget Pakistan, (who already has nuclear powered weapons capability), and that part of their country is bordering upon a civil war which would appear to involve quite a  large numbers of Taliban fighters who reside in the area of Pakistan which is adjacent to the Afghanistan border.

Words of warning.
Well my choice of subject matter was at hand as I received an e-mail a few days ago, and after considering the contents, which describe potential future acts of terrorism upon American soil, have any degree of validity I came to the conclusion that it was of the utmost importance that I include a very slightly modified version of the information that was provided by the apparent Israeli Intelligence agent, named Juval Aviv, and try to get the attention of the American public in order to see what their reaction are to what the writer of the article predicts as a distinct possibility, that further violent attacks of terrorism will take place upon American soil in the very near future.
Initially I was concerned about publishing the views of the Israeli Intelligence Agent as they included information as to potential future acts of terrorism upon American soil, but I decided that it was important for the American people to be forewarned as to potential future terrorist actions, and as the article had obviously been published previously on computer websites and other sources, that being forewarned is being forearmed.

Of course I sincerely hope that the Israeli Intelligence agent’s predictions are totally incorrect and that the US Government has in hand the latest updated anti-terrorism weapons available and will quickly replace what is considered by the author of this article to be antiquated, outmoded, and totally inadequate methods of counteracting potential terrorist actions upon American soil.
I’m sure that many of the general public agree with the author that taking off ones shoes and not carrying bottles of water, etc, when going through airport check points is not only antiquated and irksome but that future acts of terrorism certainly will be more sophisticated, and that terrorist acts probably will come from several sources, and unfortunately it is possible that one major terrorist source may come  from a most unlikely group of people, such as "Homegrown" terrorists, as apparently was witnessed in the recent case at Fort Hood.

Now we come to the Israeli Intelligence agent, Juval Aviv’s, predictions.
The following article which came across my desk a few days ago gives a frightening set of predictions about the possibility of future terrorist acts upon American soil, and as a just-in-case measure I decided to present a very slightly modified version of the original article and see what kind of reaction I would receive with respect to the information and the predictions that were given.
It is a lengthy article provided by an apparent Jewish Intelligence agent, named Juval Aviv, in which he gives his observations as to possible future terrorist actions on American soil, and he also provides a criticism of what he considers to be the current outmoded and antiquated anti-terrorism security precautions which are currently being used by the American security authorities at American airports and other venues to protect the American people from current and future acts of terrorism.

My observations.
I cannot vouchsafe for the accuracy of the message contained in the article by Juval Aviv to be factual, or even accurate, but it certainly made me think that the time is long overdue for a total review and complete update of the so called security methods which currently are in place in order to adequately protect the American people against potential acts of terrorism upon American soil by both foreign and homegrown terrorists.
A recent glaring incident of a homegrown terrorist attack can be seen by the events that occurred at Fort Hood on Thursday the fifth of November 2009, where a devotee, home grown Muslim, US Army Major, Nidal Malik Hasan, shot and killed thirteen and injured a number more in a devastating attack on a group of American soldiers preparing to deploy to Afghanistan.

The Jewish Intelligence agent suggested in his observations that he considers the current protection of the American people to be totally inadequate and requires improvements, similar to the ones that Israel have used in the past to curtail some of their terrorist problems.
The article claims that the American people are vulnerable with respect to potential future acts of terrorism upon American soil by America’s use of obsolete protection devices, which he states requires that the American anti-terrorism force should provide more up to date security methods, which he considers to be essential in order to counteract new and improved terrorist actions and devices which could be used in future attacks on American soil.

The typical inadequate, and certainly outmoded protection of the American people against future disastrous terrorist actions by possible homegrown terrorist cells, which is outlined by the Israeli Intelligence agent, (whether the facts are accurate or otherwise), should be closely considered as he gives some very good arguments when outlining the out of date methods of the so called protective devices which are currently being used by the American anti-terrorism authorities.
It is ludicrous that certain outmoded anti-terrorism methods, which the writer suggests are apparently  being used currently against highly improved methods of terrorism, which may be used in future terrorist actions against the American people right here on our own doorstep, are apparently in his opinion so  outdated that in his words many are practically useless.

The Israeli Intelligence agent’s statements make a lot of sense and should be taken seriously, and instead of babying the American people with the governmental don't need to know attitude, because it may frighten the general public and cause them to panic, the American government should make them brutally aware of possible futuristic modern terrorist methods and actions that may be imminent, and certainly inform the people as what to do if such actions occur and most of all how to protect themselves and their families should any disastrous terrorist action take place in their neck of the woods.

I’m afraid that many of the Israeli agent’s prophecies could take place in the not too distant future and that his words should give the American government and the people of the United States a lot to think about.
Please remember that the words above are the words of an Israeli Intelligence agent and are not my comments and whilst not wishing to be a Doomsday prophet, surely it’s about time that the people of this country became better informed and face the facts, which should include recognizing that it is highly possible that many of the actions that the Israeli Agent forecasts could certainly take place upon American soil in the not too distant future.
