Some more equal than others. ???
In a recent TV interview with a senior administration official,
a comment was made by the interviewer as to the rush being
made by the public in certain cities to purchase gas masks.
The question asked;
"Do you think it is absolutely necessary for each and
every citizen to have possession of a gas mask at this time"
(You must remember that I am not quoting this question and
answer session verbatim---just how I remember the interview).
 The
answer given was;
"We have everything under control at this time and
there is no reason for panic buying, and carrying a gas
mask around on a daily basis is an obvious inconvenience".
The next question asked by the interviewer;
" Have Senior members of the United States Government
and the White house been provided with gas masks".
The short answer was an embarrassing;
" Yes".
Enough said.
Come to your own conclusions.
By the way, I'm given to understand that unless a gas mask
has an oxygen bottle cylinder attachment, its effectiveness
against biological weapons is severely curtailed.
