America. (Special American Presidential election report
- Ahead of the curve).
Preface:
Some brief comments upon the American Presidential
election result.
After nearly two years of continuous media political
propaganda bombardment and all the other political shenanigans
that have been going on we are now faced with four more
years of Presidential mediocrity. I was of course wrong
on more than one occasion in the past when I said that
the incumbent would be a one time President and that
the intelligent people of the United States would suddenly
realise what a mess this President has got us into and
vote him out of office.
Well
- what can I say - obviously the results show that there
are more American voters out there with a blind allegiance
to the party, (whichever party it maybe), and do not
want to see what is really happening to America and its
people. In some cases it’s
the, "I’m all right Jack syndrome",
and in other cases, "The party can do no wrong
syndrome". What a shame, for they are now doomed
to four more years of possible deterioration of the lifestyle
which they so proudly hold dear.
What went so radically wrong? This demands an analysis
of how the candidates faced up to the task at hand and
why the Republican voters overcame the general desires
of a proportionately divided America by such a small
margin of votes.
