Bill Sykes' Newsletter from America.
(September 2003)

An ex-Brit gives his views-(without fear or favor)---of the American Scene

Last word.
In retrospect, I was recently reminded of the results of my crystal ball gazing and prophecies that I made in previous newsletters. In the June issue there were two articles, which may have some bearing on today’s continuing terrorist situation. It obviously didn’t take the wisdom of Solomon to come up with these prophesies as anyone with the slightest degree of common sense and an insight into the ways of religious zealots of both Zionist and Muslim faith could have easily predicted the same outcome.

  • I wrote a paragraph entitled "The roadmap that may lead to nowhere" and commented that Secretary Powell’s, "Road map to peace", didn’t appear to be destined for much success and that Arabs would continue killing Jews and Jews would continue killing Arabs. One can state that those words accurately portray the current conflict and that the "Road map to peace" is now officially a "dead" issue.

  • The second article entitled "Worldwide terrorism" (A short essay describing a troubled world), outlined the why’s, wherefores, and locations of the expanded growth of worldwide terrorism, and stated which countries were supporting and participating in acts of terrorism. This unfortunate situation is rapidly coming to pass and will continue.

Disclaimer.
The usual disclaimer.
Much of the information gathered for this newsletter is gleaned from American and International sources, (including the Internet), and as such is quoted as accurately as possible. I try to obtain confirmation on each subject from several outlets, so the text is a mixture of composite news and personal comment and therefore the reader must make his/her own judgement as to the reliability and accuracy of the subjects discussed.

Sincerely,
Eric (Bill) Sykes. (California).
