Bill Sykes' Newsletter from America.
(September 2004)
An ex-Brit gives his views---(without
fear or favor)---of the American scene.
Preface:
I aim to cover in this issue
various subjects such as the current Olympic games, a layman’s
guide to United States Presidential Elections, and any
other boring subjects that come to mind, such as say the
Democratic and Republican conventions.
Perhaps I really should start with the Olympic games,
as it certainly is in many ways a much less boring subject
than the never ending political slanging match that is
an on-going daily TV occurrence.
So here goes---unless something more exciting happens
in the next few days, then the Olympic games it is.
