An ex-Brit gives his views - (without fear or favor) - of the American Scene

Last Word:
Border TextI consider that it is about time that the United States Government made more money available for the protection of its own borders, (especially the border with Mexico which is very vulnerable to infiltration by terrorist factions wanting to enter the country illegally - up to 1000 or more illegal aliens cross the border each day), instead of spending our hard earned dollars interfering in Middle East sovereign states affairs in the guise of promoting democracy in Muslim countries which never did have democracy and never will fully embrace American type democracy.

Some good news. The American Public Broadcasting System, (PBS), intends to introduce in 2006 a six-part series of Monty Python’s Personal Best. It is intended to be a blend of old and new material and will devote one episode to each member of the original six-man troop. The five living members, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin and Terry Jones, will each produce and write their own episode and all five will collaborate on the sixth episode. As a bonus PBS will also air all forty-seven episodes of Monty Python’s Flying Circus starting in the spring of next year. I can’t wait.
