I have enclosed an image from the artist Bill Abbs.
Bill is in his 80's and lives in the Huddersfield area.
His talent is obvious and it should be borne in mind that this is
only an illustration for a personal Christmas card.

Park
Road, Hatherleigh, Devon
Other paintings by Bill adorn the walls of local public houses
and are for sale.
If you would like to see more art by Bill just drop me a line and
I will ask his pemission.
| The Devil's Answer was created on the 10th
of June 2002 using Adobe Photoshop and KPT5. Whilst I try
and refrain from using the plugins there are certain ones
that compliment my art. |

Sorry for this indulgence but we have to have
an outlet for our creativity. Shown below are thumbnails leading
to images created digitally.
This is also an opportunity for us to show you what can be
done with original photographs and the creative mind or Photoshop
filters.
Software used includes Photoshop 6, Bryce 3D, and Poser. |
|
|
| We also use of Kai's Power Tools 5 - seems
like the guy is on the same wavelength!
To us those aforementioned programs are creativity personified!
Photoshop is the ultimate in image manipulation and 2D art
creation whereas Bryce really allows the imagination to run
riot! |

Takes us back to the days of Roger Dean and
his album cover artwork for the likes of Yes, Journey, Osibisa
etc. Did anyone follow his career?
He went on to found Dragons Dream books which published some
stunning art.
I cannot recall the name or who it was by but I remember images
of plants flowering into birds. |

| It is Pete's greatest wish to be taught how
to use 3D Studio Max (some chance of me affording that!) and
help to create something along the lines of "The Minds
Eye" series of video's. Try "Beyond The Minds Eye",
directed by Michael Boydstun, Music by Jan Hammer. It's on
BMG (or Miramar?) Video - catalogue number 74321 115173. 'Tis
truly digital wizardry! |

Forgive these images. Because of the time
I spend looking after this site plus earning money at work
and playing with Bryce I find that I do not have as much time
as I would like to spend with Photoshop.
I use it extensively at work too, so I feel I need a bit of
a break from it. Time, time, time. It's a horrible invention,
as is work. Oh to be able to devote myself entirely to Digital
Imaging.
As it happens I have had several images published in digital
art magazines in the UK and hope to continue to build up my
portfolio as my technique improves. |
