July 25th
Huddersfield Town took on the Portuguese side Real Sociedad at the Galpharm Stadium for a testemonial game for Andy Booth. The game was a 0-0 stalemate, played in front of a crowd of 7,142.

July 21st
Huddersfield Town finished off their Copa de Ibiza tournament with a 1 - 0 win over Swindon Town. Chris Brandon was the scorer.

July 18th
Huddersfield Town opened the Copa de Ibiza tournament with a surprise 2 - 1 loss against an Ibiza Select XI. Gary Taylor-Fletcher was the scorer for the Terriers.

July 16th
Huddersfield Town fly out to Ibiza today for a two match tournament on the Spanish island in the Copa de Ibiza.

July 13th
Huddersfield Town could only manage a 1 - 1 draw in their pre-season friendly against Harrogate at the Wetherby Road pitch. Town's goal was scored by Luke Beckett.

July 11th
Huddersfield Town beat AFC Emley in a pre-season friendly at the Welfare Ground. Town's scorers in their 3-0 victory were Andy Booth, John McAliskey and Michael Collins.

July 3rd
Huddersfield Town have announced the signing of 29-year-old striker Luke Bennett from Sheffield United. Beckett had previously been on loan to the Terriers and also Oldham Athletic. He has signed a three year contract. Beckett was signed for a reputed £85,000.

June 2006

June 27th
Huddersfield Town have announced the signing of 27-year-old goalkeeper Matt Glennon on a two-year deal. Glennon was out of contract after playing for Scottish side St Johnstone last season.

May 2006

May 26th
Three further youngsters from the Academy have been offered one-year contracts with the club. Matthew Young, John McCombe and Aaron Hardy have been time to establish themselves in the first team squad.

May 19th
Town today announced that they had given a one-year contract to Irish winger James Hand, a product of the Academy.

May 18th
Peter Jackson has signed a new two-year extension of his contract as Huddersfield's manager. This will keep him committed to the club until the summer of 2009.

It was also announced that goalkeeper Phil Senior is being released by the club.
