Silbury Dawning The Alien Visitor Gene Theory.
The Debate

From John Cowie

Contribution to the debate at the Philosophy section on the website Huddersfield One………

We exist. Family and friends know us. Even our pets recognise us. We physically are what we see, but there is much more to us hidden in our subconscious minds.
"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared with what lies within us" - said the great American intellectual Oliver Wendell Holmes.

We are a product of Earth's milieu, evolving from simple chemicals that were transformed into larger molecules.
These first primitive molecules, known as protocells, were created.
Scientists at the NASA Ames Research Centre believe that protocells are critical for the origin of life.

So at some point in the scale of 500 million years ago the origins of life was taking shape on Earth.
With life came intelligence and from the evidence of leading anthropologists, various species of bipedal ape-like creatures were leading the race around 4 million years ago.

From the origin of life to the present, we slowly evolved, gathering data, developing our senses with each surviving generation, which was passed on to the next - our 'operating system' - that distinguishes us as a human being.

Once we understand we have this amazing 'operating system' stored in our subconscious memory and accept that we are all pretty much equal in terms of our inherited trans-generation data, then we might begin to bridge the formidable barrier between one person's thoughts and another's.

I believe that around 13,000 years ago, there was a massive boost to our 'operating system', which resulted in the birth of the human race.
At this time Alien Visitor(s) arrived on our planet and eventually bred with - or somehow implanted its genetic material - and educated our Homo ancestors, thus speeding up our development.
So the bipedal Homo offspring possessing the Alien Visitor gene gained a substantial advantage over those that did not, thus disrupting the natural evolution of intelligence on Earth.

It is important to acknowledge we possess this incredible 'operating system' that we are born with which influences our beliefs, and lies in the subconscious mind of ALL of us.
Our ability to access this 'operating system' and the knowledge therein is a measure of our intelligence and self esteem!

Interestingly, the more knowledge we recover, the less we fear and the harder it is to be dazzled!

But, the inheritance of the Alien Visitor gene has a serious weakness that has hampered our recovery through ignorance, intolerance and war.
It has created an ego in some individuals who use their knowledge, gained from the gene, to their advantage.

It is very important to recognise that ironically, the more knowledge we recover, the more bigoted and intolerant we can become.
But we must settle our differences, as there is so much of the world and the universe for future generations to explore.
We do not necessarily need to make the same mistakes as our ancestors, provided we pay attention to our memories.

From the remains of the early ancient civilizations, it seems clear that the Alien Visitor introduced the concepts of time, immortality, and eternity.
I am convinced that today, without the intervention of an alien race and hence their alien gene, we would have no idea of these concepts.
Survival and coping with the violence of nature would continue to shape the rituals of our lives.

I am intrigued by the concepts of time, immortality and eternity.
An area of particular interest is the idea of multiverse (multiple histories).
We are aware of millions of different lives being lived at the same time, but can we explain millions of the same life being lived but at different times?

I look forward to exploring this idea along with 'spacetime', 'time loops', 'closed timelike curves', 'black hole horizon', 'ToE', 'brane world', etc., in Professor Stephen Hawking's new book The Universe in a Nutshell and the contributions to your debate from 'the man in the street'.
