Nights of Beauty
by Jérome Coppo (www.jeromecoppo.com)

No moment gives more pleasure
as when I lose myself in your gaze,
your sensual lips inviting my lasciviousness.
What joy to receive your blossoming kisses,
their perfume arousing a thousand senses.

I envy the sweetness of your nights
keeping watch over you and your dreams.
Nights of beauty,
which pamper my mouth,
with so many exquisite tastes.

Is there ever more richness
than the  tender warm kiss on your cheek
on which I rest my lips,
or the simple touch of my fingers on you skin,
meeting no denial?

Is there ever a single hour
or even an endless minute,
which, separating me  from your heart,
could withstand the tidal wave
and prevent you from inundating my thoughts?

MY LITTLE BUTTERFLY

(Dedicated to Esther Finlayson)

Flying around the moon
I am in a daydream
when you are in dreamland

Come to me
angel of the stars
and sing a song on my knees

Sea shells are happy in your smile
sheltering birds in your voice
